Does God ever give you an impression that He wants you to do or say something and then you don’t do it? Friends, that has happened with me more than I’d like to admit.
Have you found yourself saying, “I’m too busy” or “I don’t know what to say” or “I don’t like how I look today”? What about this one, “Who wants to listen to me anyway”? I can answer “yes” to all of that, BUT there came a day when I didn’t listen to the doubt. It got to a point where I knew I had to share this message, and I cared more about pleasing God than what others would think of me. I’m not sure if the urgency was more in the words I spoke or for me to walk in obedience. Both are important. What do you think?
If you’ve ever been in that place or you find yourself there now, I encourage you to just go for it! Don’t let your head hit the pillow knowing you didn’t do what you were being nudged to do. I decided that deception wasn’t going to win that day. I know God is moving in my life and there’s more to come. He has more for you too!
